TO MAKE DOSA
Take 1 cup of ragi dosa/crepe mix and add 1 ½ cups of water slowly, and mix to make a thin batter without lumps. Add salt as required and let it rest for 2-3 minutes.
Heat a non-stick tava/frying pan/crepe non-stick pan. Put a few drops of oil on the pan and spread.
Pour a ladle-full of ragi dosa mix batter, starting from the centre of the pan to outwards. Swirl the pan to spread the batter, if necessary.
Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame. Add a few drops of oil/ghee on the dosa.
Flip the dosa and cook on the other side.
Serve with chutney.
TO MAKE RAGI ROTTI
Make a slightly thick batter, but still a pouring constituency. Add finely chopped onions and fresh coriander.
Heat a non-stick tava/frying pan/crepe non-stick pan. Put a few drops of oil on the pan and spread.
Pour the batter starting from the centre of the pan to outwards. Swirl the pan to spread the batter, if necessary.
Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame. Add a few drops of oil/ghee on the rotti.
Flip the rotti and cook on the other side.
Serve with chutney.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store the finger millet dosa mix in an airtight container and keep refrigerated.
Best before 4 months from the date of manufacture.
